RECOGNITION

Arindam Ghosh

I forgot the people who loved me and laughed at me,
I forgot the tormentors who had taken away the canopy.
Now I recall those I've come across so far in life…
I acknowledge a prediction, never accept it;
I do not believe in God, not in Satanic feet . . .
I wanted to kill her, but I had lost the knife,
Whenever she slept with me, I forgot to rape her.
I was inclined to killing myself, had not enough time either...
My vision is dimming in, I cannot see your knees;
I cannot change the views of my friends and enemies.
Neither is I a Messiah, nor a Sorcerer...

I can not identify this torrid time or its bearers…
